Equipped with a PATA interface, 4,200 RPM rotational speed and advanced acoustic reduction features, the MKxx34GAL drives provide the best power consumption efficiency and quietest operation of any hard disk drive on the market, making the MKxx34GAL ideal for handheld and audio or video playback applications that cater to maximizing on-the-go entertainment and immediate content capture. At 160GB, the high end capacity model can store up to either 45,000 digital photos, 42,000 digital music files or 130 downloaded digital videos in a device about the size of a credit card. The MKxx34GAL series also reduces or eliminates the use of certain hazardous or controversial chemicals, augmenting Toshiba’s expanding line of environmentally enhanced product solutions.
