Toshiba Mobile Thin HDD MQ01ABU-WÂ Series
Toshiba's MQ01ABU-W series of self encrypting 5400RPM HDDs (SED) deliver up to 500 GB of data storage capacity in an ultra-compact 2.5" 7.0 mm form factor. The MQ01ABU-W leverages Toshiba's Wipe security feature which automatically erases data when the HDD is accessed by an unregistered system. Unlike software-based encryption which relies on the system CPU for encryption processing, the MQ01ABU-W series leverages its onboard crypto-processor to encrypt at full interface speed without impacting system level performance.
