Toshiba's MK1060GSCX is an industrial grade SATA HDD. The drive has been specially designed through extensive work with some industrial manufacturers. This drive is based on specifications from the demanding automotive environment for aftermarket suppliers entering the personal navigation device market as well as robotics, factory/industrial PCs and other critical industrial applications. The 100 GB Temperature Enhanced Drives (TED) can endure extreme operating conditions in wide temperature zones from sub freezing to high temperature (-30 to 85 Degrees C operating / -40 to 95 Degrees C non-operating) while the spindle motor runs at 4,200 rpm. In addition, the MK1060GSCX can withstand operational vibration of up to 3 G and non-operational vibration of 5 G, providing a rugged and dependable option for many industrial automated machines.
