What’s more, noise-reducing technologies, such as intelligent seek profiles and Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) Spindle Motors, benefit consumer electronics applications as well. FDB Spindle Motors and a ramp — head load/unload feature also increase shock tolerance for improved reliability. So, the MHT-AT Series addresses the needs of a wide range of applications.

High areal densities up to 69.3 GB/sq. in., combined with Spin Valve GMR heads, Synthetic Ferri-magnetic and GDT media, and a 4,200-RPM spindle speed enable MHT-AT Series drives to deliver outstanding performance and high capacity in a low-profile, 9.5-mm form factor. Available in 20GB, 30GB, 40GB, 60GB and 80GB capacities, they provide ample data storage for multimedia presentations, digital audio and video, and graphics.
